Washington established the Statewide Enterprise Network (SEN,) the private statewide intranet for state and local government. The network connects a variety of government websites statewide and provides reliable economic and census data, political information, and communication materials for state agencies, commissions, and boards.
Results Achieved
The Statewide Enterprise Network has successfully connected over 1,100 sites statewide. Staff members in different state agencies and groups have been able to learn best practices from one another, often changing long held procedures to be more efficient.
