The National Academy of Public Administration sought to establish an internal wiki site to better organize and manage research, interview notes, and data gathered from the various Academy projects.
Approach Taken
The National Academy's own wiki platform, currently in pilot phase, is building core competency across the organization so staff can construct pages, log study results, and perform other wiki-enabled tasks for their respective client projects.

Lessons Learned
In addition to its own wiki site, the National Academy of Public Administration is moving forward with its efforts to establish a Collaboration Community of Practice on collaborative technology that will provide an independent forum for government leaders to work together to leverage collaborative technology's potential for innovative problem solving, information sharing, and strategic planning.
